The Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation's Preservation Oral History Project features oral histories from many of the influential women of the preservation movement, including Margo Gayle, Verna Small and Jane Jacobs. This salute (part three of GVSHP's Women's History Month series) features selections from their oral histories that explore their experiences and their passion for preservation in their own words, with a keynote lecture by Roberta Brandes Gratz on Jane Jacobs. For one night only, commemorate the movement, hear their memories and explore the importance of all that was accomplished through the words of these amazing women.

This event is co-sponsored by the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation, the New York Preservation Archive Project, the Historic Districts Council and the Neighborhood Preservation Center.
